Our principal objective is to give the best education to your children. And in order to do this, we use an educational model based on the excellence and methodology of the International Baccalaureate. We also make sure to offer facilities according to the needs of our students, therefore the care and maintenance of our Campus is part of the school’s continuous improvement strategy.
Sports spaces
Thanks to the latest renovations carried out during the last few months, we can now enjoy fantastic 6.500m2- sports playgrounds with a total of eight sports courts, which are a different color since last summer. They are blue now, after using a resin paint that allows the condition of this surface to be optimal. On these courts, our students can do P.E, and our Football and Basketball Sports Schools play their matches in the different competitions in which they participate (now called off due to the pandemic). These games can also be held inside our large 1.100 m2-sports hall, with the possibility of welcoming the public into the stands.
But they are not the only sports facilities available in the school. There’s also a 1.100 m2- heated swimming pool, with two basins, in which daily swimming classes are offered as a curriculum subject from Preschool to 6th grade. This is also where the members of our School of Initiation to the Competition do their internships.
There’s also a psychomotricity room and special rooms for classic and modern dance, which is considered one of the most demanded after-school activities in our school.
And we cannot forget inside and outside spaces for table tennis practice, used both in the students’ free time, and during P.E. This practice reaches its highest point with different tournaments among the students.
Classrooms and common spaces
The school, with a campus structure and a total area of 20,400 m2, consists of different buildings for each educational stage, adapted for people with mobility impairments. This has been achieved thanks to the inclusion of different elevators that allow people with reduced mobility to avoid stairs.
Each of these buildings has specific children’s playgrounds, distributed in 1.000 m2. They are adapted with the latest technology in non-slip and lifeline fibers.
Classes are held in large classrooms, as well as in ‘desdobles’ classrooms for teaching small groups, as is commonly done for language classes (English, German and Chinese). We do this in both grammar and conversation, with native or bilingual teachers, in order to get the most out of our classes.
The school also has Laboratories for different uses: Physics, Chemistry, Biology... specifically Visual Arts classrooms, for Primary and Secondary Education, as well as for Baccalaureate. A technologically expanded classroom for video editing and photography has also been added. We also have the Music, Computer Science and Robotics classrooms, (in this case for Preschool, Primary and Secondary students). Both Arts and Music ones are also used, outside school hours, for activities developed within the Schools of Arts and Music.
There are also two multi-purpose magna classrooms; a conference room for cultural activities (including theatrical performances prepared each year by our Theater School); twelve rooms for face-to-face tutoring; and of course, a canteen with a kitchen of its own, in which our students and teachers can eat homemade and well balanced meals. The canteen has individual separation screens at each seat in order to prevent contagions due to Covid-19.
