In order to obtain the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme in Madrid, the students of Casvi Villaviciosa have an open and flexible curriculum. The student is who chooses it according to his or her interests and professional development towards the University.
OPEN CURRICULUM
In addition, they must pass six subjects chosen from among those included in these six groups:
- Language and Literature
- Foreign Language
- Individuals and Corporations
- Science,
- Mathematics and Computing
- and Arts.
PROJECTS AND MONOGRAPHS
Finally, students in the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme are required to take a 4,000 word monograph, supervised by a professor specialized in the subject; a 100-hour course on Theory of Knowledge, aimed at fostering critical reflection on knowledge and experience; and Creativity, Activity and Service (CAS) projects.
